On Saturday, July 5th, we will be holding the exhibition "Touching the Senses: Fragrances and Photography" in Kobe.
What can be seen from the scent

Even when smelling the same fragrance, the images and moods that come to mind are different for each person.
For some it is an old veranda, for others it is an overseas market.
We will be holding an event where participants can choose a photo of what they have in mind and take it home as a tangible form.
A small journey of sensations with no right answers.
The way you perceive a scent changes depending on your current condition and memories.
I think there is something interesting in these discrepancies and differences.
Expressing scent through photography

Scents have a mysterious power to evoke memories and expand imaginations.
And photography is a way to capture and preserve a moment.
Both begin with a "sensation" and can capture feelings and the atmosphere before they are put into words.
This time, participants will be asked to describe their impression of the fragrance and choose a scent that best suits their description.
Come experience a slightly mysterious and quiet time, choosing only what suits your senses.

Organizer | About MCKK
This event was organized by the fragrance brand MCKK .
In today's world where efficiency and rationality are emphasized, we want to bring the pleasure of taking a detour .
Move away from immediately useful and efficient choices and instead try to experience time-consuming actions and ambiguity.
I would be delighted if this could become a place where this "sense of detour" can be cultivated through experiences such as scent and photography.
