結果を急ぐ毎日に、
寄り道という嗜みを。
Before we know it, our days are shaped by purpose.
We prioritize efficiency and rationality, and it seems that spending meaningful time is the right thing to do.
However, time that seemed wasted can later resonate in our hearts. Paths not chosen by logic can sometimes bring unexpected richness.
Japanese culture has a spirit that values "how."
It's about appreciating the beauty of change and chance, rather than pursuing a calculated perfection.
It's about finding joy in the act itself, not as a means to an end.
MCKK is a brand that gently imbues this often-forgotten sensibility into our daily lives.
Origin of the Name
MCKK is named after the initials of "MiChiKaKe" (満ち欠け), meaning "waxing and waning."
The aesthetic sensibility that finds beauty in "incomplete things" like a hazy moon or a crescent moon strongly reflects Japan's unique sense of beauty.
We ourselves also have our own incomplete parts,
and we are not always full,
sometimes we feel as if our hearts are lacking.
However, it is precisely in that imperfection
that we wish to cherish the beauty that suddenly appears.
This sentiment is embedded in our name.
