Origin of the Name

MCKK is named after the initials of "MiChiKaKe" (満ち欠け), meaning "waxing and waning."

The aesthetic sensibility that finds beauty in "incomplete things" like a hazy moon or a crescent moon strongly reflects Japan's unique sense of beauty.

We ourselves also have our own incomplete parts,

and we are not always full,

sometimes we feel as if our hearts are lacking.

However, it is precisely in that imperfection

that we wish to cherish the beauty that suddenly appears.

This sentiment is embedded in our name.
